生活型

形態特徵

  • Rhizome stout, densely covered with scaly leaves; culms erect or ascending, caespitose, to 30 cm high.
  • Blade lanceolate, 10-15 cm long, margins siliceously serrate, mouth of sheath long ciliated; ligule truncate, membranaceous, short; sheath longer than internode, margins long ciliate.
  • Panicle ca. 13 cm long, main axis sparingly hispid or scabrous; pedicel scabrous. Spikelets paired, one long pedicellate and other shortly pediceled, ovate-lanceolate, ca. 4 mm long, all awned; lower glume ca. 4/5 as long as spikelet, ovate, acute, 3-nerved; upper glume and lower lemma nearly equal, as long as spikelet, 5-nerved, acuminate; upper lemma slightly shorter than lower lemma, truncate and toothed at apex; upper lemma bisexual, easily falling off, thicky papery, tipped with an awn of ca. 3 mm long.
